PES2010 ..... HERE..... NOW! Thats right Folks. As Most of you are aware, PES2010 Officially Hits the shelves at midnight tonight.

So will you be getting it? Or will you be Renting only just to be on the safe side?

Regardless of what you decide, Backofthenet will be able to support your choice.

Lets First of all offer a Big......

WELCOME TO OUR NEW MEMBERS!

As you have seen in the previous News Piece by EasyEazy, Here at Backofthenet we will be running some leagues on Fifa10 and signups have already begun. That does not mean that we will be leaving PES fans in the lurch! No Sir! Lets put it this way. If we have enough Active Members who are playing PES2010 then there will be a great chance of leagues getting set up for the game. So its all down to who plays and how many play.

Just for guideline purposes for our new members. League rely on Members being Active. Now the term Active is key in that statement because one would ask....how can I be active? The Answer is simple: Play Rankups. Rankups are friendly games which are played between one backofthenet member and another. Arrange for the match to be played via the Shoutbox and ensure that you follow all Site Rules during and before the game....eg arrange which lobby you will meet in....possibly which teams you will use and also make sure that its a ranked game. (This information will be clarified in due course due to the set up being slightly different on PES as compared to Fifa)

Once the game is played, both you and your opponent return to the site and submit the results Results are submitted on the Right Hand Panel of your screen titled "My Results". Making sure you select the correct opponent from the drop down menu and enter the result. If you enter an incorrect result, you may delete it by clicking on Red the "X" next to the result BEFORE your opponent accepts it. However, it works the same for your opponent. If you Submit a result incorrectly and he does not agree, he can Reject the result and enter a "Reason for Rejection".
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you wish to Reject a result, Make sure you use your Mouse to Click the Reject button. Pressing the "enter" Key will Accept the result which is a non reversible process.

So thats how you enter, confirm or reject a result once you have played a game.

Pretty simple once you get used to it. I have a book dedicated to Any Football Matches that I play on the site and I make a note of my opponent and the final score.

If there is a dispute in results, please make sure you consult an Admin in advance and by all means Use the Private Messaging facility provided to discuss the issue rather than the Shoutbox.

After you have submitted and confirmed the results, you might want to RATE your player and leave a comment on their profile about possibly the game play, how much you enjoyed playing against them etc etc. To do this, all you do is either search for your opponent using the search facility on the right hand panel or click on their name via the shoutbox if they are online and "Leave a comment"

Another handy little piece of information you will find is the Backofthenet Features news piece written by yours truely just so that you can find your way about.

Remeber, The More Rankups You play, The more the chances you will get into a league. And ESPECIALLY in the case of PES2010 The more members that stay Active, the more the chances of New leagues being set up and backofthenet seeing the PES Era come back again.

I hope this little (and maybe abit long) piece has been helpful. If you have ANY questions what so ever, just ASK on the shoutbox or feel free to PM an Admin (Details on the "Site Info and Help" tap found at the top of the page)

Enjoy and hope to catch you on the shoutbox some time soon.

i've played 2 online so far and similar. first lagged out before half time. i'm hoping it just is teething problems, remember pro evo 6 started off badly, but i don't see any evidence to suggest it's going to be like that yet and past games hardly help sway the opinion.
