Official PES2010 Site Launches
Official PES 2010 site launches with exclusive content

The countdown has finally finished and the site PES Wants Youis now officially online. With the countdown finishing slightly earlier then expected, the site launched at the rather bizarre time of a Friday night at 23.30 BST (even later for those on the continent where Konami Europe is based) PES wants you is the official PES 2010 website.

Like the last couple of PES websites such as PESunites, it's a promotional site for the upcoming title with Messi featured
predominantly with an exclusive interview that Jon Murphy alluded to in one of his blog entries. You'll also notice the 'Have Your Say' section, more on that soon...

Also on the website is a competition to take part in the advertising campaign!
PES2010 - the game you asked for

PES is all about our fans, which is why when it came to making PES even better, there was one group of people we turned to.

You.
We listened to what you loved, what you wanted improved, and what new ideas you had for making it even better.

The result is the most challenging, realistic and satisfying PES ever. And we’ve introduced more new features than ever before.

Just some of the key additions for 2010 include:

• Improved visuals, animations and moves with a major update including live player expressions and movements that will change according to conditions on the field. Animations of dribbling and shots on goal, as well as individual skills have all been reworked to make it the most realistic release ever.

• Realistic gameplay to constantly test you, requiring you to have both strategic play and quick reactions, just like real life, including more versatile goal keepers, greater control over penalties in terms of placing and accuracy, and intuitive zonal defending.

• Enhanced online experience, a new team is solely dedicated to improving online play and other aspects such as downloadable content, more updates and the ability make the game more bespoke.

• Improved AI thanks to Teamvision 2.0. Now midfielders and defenders will work together, getting rid of those soft goals and returning PES 2010 to its simulation roots. You will also be able to move several players at once into any opening, resulting in a need for more strategic thinking. Referees have also been reworked to make morebalanced calls during matches.

• Strategy use – every element, from pass frequency to width of play, can be altered to match those of your favourite club giving you ultimate control.

• Match day atmosphere will be ramped up to give a better taste of home or and away crowds, who’ll react spontaneously to all the action on the pitch.

• Enhanced Master League will improve managerial aspects of the mode resulting in an increased managerial career lifespan.

On top of all that we'll be working on additional ways to further integrate the UEFA Champions League and have also secured Europe’s next biggest club competition, the all new UEFA Europa League.

We’ll send you more updates as soon as we can. Thank you for your help in making PES 2010 our best game ever.

A team working on the online part, ummm, no admission of the 2009 lag issues as usual.
I really hope PES is the bizz, cos i can't see myself buying FIFA 10, shame some other developer can't see an opening.

2 years of let down have left a sour taste in a lot of PES fans mouths. You seen the effect it has had on here with not one PES league running now. Its shocking to think a multi million pound company such as Konami can be allowed to churn out games with poor quality. Once again its another 6 months of hope as wintz says but i aint counting on it being amazing

If they can fix their online play I will be back for sure but its a BIG IF. Its good though to see them put a working team on that particular issue, fingers crossed.

There they go with this Teamvision shit again. We don't give a damn if it has a bloody fancy name to make it sound nice and funky andmixing it up with their other buzzwords, we just want a bloody good decent working game.
