Okay, so no PES demo today but more news has began to filter through to keep give you your PES fix.
First up, the official PES 2009 Cover, what do you think?
There have also been various licences announced:
Champions League License confirmed for PES 2009, Konami secure the license for 4 years!
Official Press release:
"UEFA Champions League four year deal for PES best club football competition in the world to feature in PES 2009 as Konami secures exclusive UEFA Champions League licence Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd
has announced that its PES 2009 title will feature the UEFA Champions
League following the conclusion of an exclusive 4 year licence with
UEFA. The newest addition to the Pro Evolution Soccer series will be
released for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360 and, PC-DVD on 17th October,
followed by a version for Wii in 2009."

More great news regarding licenses! After seeing Barca licensed
(meaning some Spanish teams are in), we now get full confirmation of
Man Utd and Liverpool licensed in the game!
Finally, A small detail, but from one picture we can see that Nike and Puma boots are indeed licensed!
As you can see, as well as the Adidas boots, we have Torres, Rooney and
Ronaldo all flexing Nike boots of some kind! And also spot Carrick in
his funky gold Puma’s!

Dont mean to bust anybody's bubble but from all accounts on the Champions League the mode only has a few official teams and all they actuall have is the intros and some licensed teams.
Dont understand the point in having a champions league match with all the fanfare and playing MANCHESTER UTD vs WEST LONDON at TRAD BRICK stadium. That is so daft!!!!
