IGN.com have post 4 PES 2009 videos clearly from a more advanced build
to those shown from the frankly unimpressive Leipzig build. For the
first time ever we get a glimpse of the commentary, ball physics ( no
more shots flying in from every angle), much toned down gameplay and
very smooth replays among other things!

loooks good
looks like u cant reach the other end of the pitch in 0.001 seconds like PES 2008, which is better
although still looks a bit too easy to score to me :(:(
will still be the number 1 football game (for gameplay)

looks good, got seems like there is still some very dodgy short passes and goalkeeping about though, but as long as it plays online i can come to terms with that. will be buying both anyway

Sam you mean october right? :) And the "eight directions" only physics are boring me a bit :p I'll start off with fifa this year and might give pes a go later on
Not exactly what i would call next gen, and where has the football kick sound effect come from, even when they tap the ball its thud.
They seem to have slowed it down which is better but so far so unimpressed. Still u never know???

Must say, it looks quality, in particularly the ball physics this time.
Think its safe to say we are on for two top quality footballing games by the end of November.
Nah still no mention. Probably dont want to commit to it until they 100% know its sorted. One thing that does bug me on the videos is the angle the players run at. I hope they are using the D pad and its not like that with the analogue stick
