CPs Big Punt With the festival of this weekend's football fast approaching, many
avid gamblers are licking their lips at the anticipation of making a
few bob come the end of the weekend.

You have to look no further than Anfield at 12.45pm to find the biggest game of the week and arguably the season. Liverpool and Manchester United llock horns in what always proves to be an intriguing battle between the two clubs and the two managers.  Man United are slight favourites for the game coming in at 8/5, a good price for Ferguson's team at any point in the season. Although many people will question the start to the season United have had, theywill come back a wounded animal from the Zenit defeat in Monaco. Wounded animals are always dangerous so I'd back them to be drawing at half time and snatching the win at full time at odds of 4/1. Tenner on that and you've got yourself a night out and a kebab!

Everybody looks to the top teams to get them the results they want for the bookie slips and I'm no different. Arsenal travel to Blackburn on form after their 3-0 win over Newcastle and the richest club in the world entertain the seemingly skint Chelsea to the City of Manchester Stadium. I reckon both London sides have too much for their opponents and could record decent wins on the road. Portsmouth welcome Gareth Southgates re-juvenated Middlesbrough to Fratton Park and will be looking to get a good win infront of a usually big crowd. Up in Scotland, Rangers look superb after their demolition of their Old Firm rivals but will have to guard against complacency against in-form Kilmarnock at Ibrox. And finally, Celtic travel to Fir Park to face Mark McGhee's Motherwell desperate to get their title charge back on track.

Backing Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Portsmouth and both the Old Firm sides with a tenner will give you £390 back. Sounds too good to be true but imagine it happened and you missed the boat? Back the big guns and reap the rewards!

Elsewhere, another managerial crisis has descended upon Newcastle. The Toon Army are reeling that King Kev has left the club and who can blaim them? The Newcastle job is one that many managers across the world would jump at. Big City with one club, passionate fans, big stadium. The potential is immence which is why managers like Didier Deschamps (5/1), Gerard Houllier (6/1) and Fatih Terim (14/1) are waiting for a phone call. I think Terim would be a teriffic acquisition
for both the club and the Premier League and with odd's like that must be worth a punt.

So, the festival of football is once again upon us after International
week. Get down the bookies, get betting and start sending some money my
way after you make a fortune!

Happy Betting!

Was fantastic to finally get that elusive victory under Benitez against Man Utd! Outplayed them without Torres and Gerrard which makes it even sweeter.

We should have beat them on the two previous meetings at Anfield being the better team on both occasions.

Rooney was anonymous yet again, Berbatov didn't turn up and Tevez disappeared after his goal.
