After much discussion in the Admin forum and a fair amount of input from our members, its has been decided that next season we will be introducing a new league structure for BoTN.
With this season almost at a close and after running some facts and figures, we worked out that over 80% of current league members have nothing to play for. At this stage of the season that leave a huge amount of members jjst playing the season out. This is one of the main reasons for pooled games and replacements.
So what we going to do, i here you say. Well................
As from next season BoTN will be going back to basics. We will be running 3 league types. Club, International and PES6. The Simulation and Galactico leagues will be removed. This will place all active members in either Euro leagues or International League or even both. By doing this it will create more leagues in each structure than 1/2 we have now.
Our aim is to have 3/4 Euro leagues and 3/4 International leagues. This is all dependant on numbers of course. Each league will contain 10 members. Promotion and relegation will be based on a 3 up 3 down basis. With playoff between places 3,4,5 and 6 taking place. Overall it means EVERY member in each league will have something to play for all season. League cups will run as usual.
On this structure we can also run Champions league and UEFA Tournaments based on league places from the previous season.
Members will be seeded into leagues on a site ranking basis and in reverse. The highest ranked members will be placed in the lower division with the lowest ranked members being placed in higher leagues. This will encourage more promotion and relegation.
Team will also be allocated on site ranking. The lowest ranked member having first choice with the highest having last pick.
No team will be repeated in any league. Teams will be allocated to each league based on a star rating. The top division will house teams such as Man U, Barcelona and Inter Milan. Division 2 will have teams such as Newscastle, Roma etc.
International Leagues will run on the same basis as above. The members requested our leagues to be more active. With what we have in place here it should be more than enough to wet your appetite.We have reduced the types of leagues we offer, this will increase more activity in the new structure. Add to that all the tournaments MasterMaharashi has lined up and im sure next season will be a success.
Lastly, any member who is currently behind in games for whatever reason is urged to catch up before your Leagues season finishes. Any member who is not upto date without a valid reason will not gain a league place next season.

Agree with everyone else, cracking idea, with only committed players likely to be accepted it will be easier for you hard working admins as well.

No changes to PES 6 League at all. With only 12/14 members interested it would be impopssible to have anymore leagues. Unless more members want in that is
