Hello all,
I know that its not really the time or place to do this BUT our neighbors house was burnt down to the ground yesterday it has totally devastated our community as the little kids that lived there have nothing, no clothes and no presents to open for Christmas as all were lost in the fire!!
The shock of it all is that the women who was is a single parent had no home insurance so everything has been lost!! My girlfriend and I are going around the neighborhood collecting money so that we can give it to the women and she can get the little ones some presents this Christmas.
My local newspaper the leicester mercury is coming around tonight and will be interviewing us so that we can get some coverage on this thing in the paper in the hop that more people will help out.
I have setup a donations page with a link to the story in the paper so that you don't think i'm scamming you
Donation page all donations will be listed and details given to the women.

valid point she has 3 kids and no help and no job i think half of or almost all single parents just cant afford home insurance especially for that house as mine is identical a 3 storey 5 bed. My insurance is 45 a month :( its alot of money!
I don't get it...
Why is being a single parent an excuse for not bothering your arse to get contents insurance?
